Risk Assessment Before Work
All potential hazards must be identified and appropriate control measures implemented before starting any work
Isolation and Securing of Energy Sources
Electrical, mechanical, and pressurized energy sources must be isolated and secured prior to any maintenance or repair activities.
Safe Working at Heights
Fall prevention systems must be used, and safety procedures strictly followed when working at heights, ladders, or scaffolding.
Operation by Qualified Personnel Only
No equipment, machinery, or vehicle shall be operated except by trained and officially authorized personnel.
Authorized Work Permits Only
No activity or task shall be carried out without obtaining the required work permits and official approvals.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Compliance
Appropriate personal protective equipment must be worn at all times in all project sites, according to the nature of the work.
Electrical Safety Compliance
Electrical systems must be handled in accordance with safety procedures, using approved tools and equipment only.
Driving and Transportation Safety
Traffic regulations and safety instructions must be followed at all times when driving vehicles or transporting personnel or cargo, including seat belt use and prohibiting mobile phone use while driving.
Housekeeping and Site Organization
Worksites must be kept clean, organized, and free from obstacles or waste that may pose safety hazards.
Immediate Reporting of Incidents and Hazards
All incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions must be reported immediately to enable corrective action.
Physical and Mental Fitness for Work
No work, vehicle operation, or equipment use shall be performed while fatigued, distracted, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other factors that may impair safe performance and sound decision-making.
Stop Work Authority
Every employee has the right and responsibility to stop work immediately if a safety risk is identified, until the situation is assessed and made safe
